It's nearly that time of the month, so get ready for a global tea get-together at the Mei Leaf YouTube channel.

This Saturday, 3rd March, 8pm UK time we'll be doing tea cooking, tea giveaways, lots of different tea tasting and of course the usual inane tea chatter.

Here are the details to get you ready:

We'll be tasting the following teas;

  • Raw Puerh Samples

We'll be making a tea salad so if you would like to cook along with us you will need the following:

  • Green tea like Gyokuro or Temple Blossom
  • White Cabbage (coarse grated or finely chopped)
  • Red Cabbage (coarse grated or finely chopped)
  • Avocados (sliced)
  • Sugar Snap Peas or Mangetout (blanched in hot water and sliced)
  • Spring Onions (sliced)
  • Cherry Tomatoes - (sliced into quarters)
  • Fresh Coriander (roughly chopped)
  • Salted Nuts/Seeds of your choice
  • Mild Red Chilli (optional - thin sliced))
  • Limes
  • Salt
  • Light Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Miso Paste (optional)
