The white porcelain and curved shape shows off the tea leaves and makes it much more enjoyable to analyse the appearance of the tea.
The scoop shape means that you can empty the tea directly from the scoop into the pot. Counterintuitively, we recommend that you use the wide opening to pour the leaves and reserve the smaller opening for very small leaf tea.
