Jasmine, creamy, pastry, supper sweet, nice mild tang in the finish, lovely tea

It's back in stock after a few years. Golden Yolk is a Tie Guan Yin produced in the Xiao Zheng style and it has a little more texture than most TGY and a rich, creamy character.

I love the nuance that can be created in Tie Guan Yin through the slight adaptation of production methods. This year we have managed to source this fresher TG called Sip Spring to compare with a supremely balanced Superior Iron GoddessIf you want to really understand the differences and train your tastebuds then I recommend that you pick up all three and enjoy some delicious comparative tastings.

This small-batch tea is made in the Xiao Zheng style. If you are not sure what this means then check out the video below [skip to 15mins for the explanations].
