Gong Ting means the finest grade pickings for Ripe PuErh - with more buds and young leaves. This makes a very rich brew and tends to have more of that White tea creaminess than ripe tea made from larger leaves.
This Gong Ting Bulang Ripe came to us from a brand new supplier. I have no idea how such a prime batch of ultra-fine pickings which has been fermented immaculately was not snapped up earlier but after one taste we bought the whole batch. It has been stored loose in Bulang for 10 years.
This is such a winning tea - deep, creamy and luxurious on the tongue and mineral, cooling and refreshing in its finish - the perfect ripe experience.
