Tasty yet strong but easygoing on the tongue. There is a distinct black tea power yet it has some delicate floral notes. A keeper for sure.

    Recommends this tea

Another beautifully crafted tea from the birthplace of Black tea - Tong Mu village. Combining flowers and fruits with a sweet poppy seed paste nuttiness. A delight by itself and bold enough to be paired with sandwiches and cakes.

This tea reminds me of the notes which I look for in a perfect Keemun (Qimen) Black tea. It has lots of flowers and poppy seeds with a sweet confectionary finish yet it has a brisk and bright character.

I can't stop buying teas from Tong Mu village - the character which comes from this magical place is unique and expansive. This tea is a worthy brew to sit alongside our clientfavourites from Tong Mu Gleaming Brow, Litlle Tong Mu and Souchong Liquor.

Check this video to see how it compares with a couple of these teas and try the comparison yourself. I think that you will be left with so much admiration for this special village.
