Dark Syrup and charred wood

Very nice chocolate almond aroma of heated dry leaves turning into heavy burnt wood smell after wash. It translates into the brew with some whisky, sweeter notes.

Burned wood, wet rock, hint of date sweetness

Dark roasted malts, struck charcoal, light cinnamon and nutmeg, whisky cask. Has a medium full mouth feel with balanced sweetness, minerality, dryness. Smooth, silky milk chocolate finish.

Very drinkable, verging on sensual. Nose of chocolate hazelnut and herbs when cooler. Also granite, earth. Complex distinctive and deep developing palate. I could fall in love with this one!

Apricot jam, sweet peach, earthy hay.

Full-bodied but soft & gentle. Peaty with lingering cannabis on the palate. chocolate-covered almonds with some very ripe persimmon undertones. Gentle minerality.

Rounded nose and palate. Heady smell with an earthy character, yet a lighter palate than the nose would suggest. A lovely, slightly mineral aftertaste keeps it refreshing.

Raisins, cinnamon, chocolate, highland whiskey, prunes, currants, black cherry, cloves, wild red berries, malt, leaf litter, dried cranberry & fudge.

Really nice rock oolong! Has a smoky, roasted aroma with a good mineral aftertaste (gam). Needs 6 grams for good flavour. Not as strong as da hong pao.

It has a full body taste, with wet soil notes and a pleasant mild dryness aftertaste.

Wet forrest floor/ wood.Toasted rice. Slightly stewed apricot. Rich thick mouthfeel. Wet stone minerality

Mineral. Dry and damp woods. Charcoal. Bark. Nutmeg? Some cocoa.

Rosehips, raisins, old leather, wet slate, and tobacco leaves. Warming and energising. Everything I like in a rou gui!

Dark syrupy texture, with a gentle crystalline feel as an aftertaste. Subtle leafiness in the beginning. Lingering fruity sense.

Dark malty burnt sugar mixed in with a deep robust whiskey spray. The whole time I was drinking it I felt like I was in a red robe in front of the fire place with a neat whiskey in my hand.

A black tea to try! Smoky and comforting

Very woody in taste and slightly sweet to the smell!
