    Dried apricots, mineral, slightly metallic

The perfect opportunity to taste a famous village Yiwu Spring Gushu PuErh without the hefty price tag. This tea is from the much revered Gao Shan village in Yiwu - watch us visiting the producers.

Huangpian is the larger leaves which are picked at the same time and from the same trees as the fine picked PuErh and sorted out differently (classically kept for the farmers to drink). A fine picking version of this cake would be about 4x the price of this very affordable version and there is no way that you could say that the experience in the cup is a quarter as good - in fact some people actually prefer the Huangpian taste.

This Huangpian has all of the trademark sweetness and honey notes that you would expect from Gao Shan village with a little edge of sherbet or passionfruit tang in later infusions. Yum.
