Perfect balanced Gushu, with an long after taste. The tea build up its power over the first 3 steeps and keep it for many brews. Relaxed light and happy body sensation.

Evil Dispelling Bull

Ultra zesty, sweet, thick and floral.Prominent apricot, magnolia,lots of bright fruity notes, but a creamy body. Light minerality and astringency on the finish. Probably my favourite Mei Leaf puerh.

Very fresh and bright tea. First sniff of the leaves is like entering a flowershop! Flavour reveals zesty oranges, some apricots and jasmine, followed by a nice refreshing bite.

Medium thick texture. Nicely balanced fruitiness and astringency. Dried apricots, ripe bananas, oranges and limes. It feels like you could infuse this forever.

EYES - DRY LEAF: Glossy tortoiseshell buds and leaves with silver, khaki and plum tones.
NOSE - DRY LEAF: Malt loaf, candied orange and raisins.
NOSE - WET LEAF: Preserved apricots, ginger cake and fennel seeds.
EYES - LIQUOR: Bright, apricot liquor.
MOUTH - TEXTURE: Medium thick.
MOUTH - TASTE: Magnolia, river rocks, pomelo and burnt banana.
NOSE - EMPTY CUP: Frozen orange juice and lilies.
MOUTH - FINISH: Fizzy, cooling and active with a zesty, floral juiciness.
EYES - WET LEAF: Lime and khaki small to medium leaves.
BODY SENSATION: Bright, bracing and very happy.

Jing Mai Gushu PuErh made from estimated average 300-year-old, ancient tea trees. This tea has high aromatics, rich flowery sweetness and a zesty kick in all the right measures.

Ah, Jing Mai. A mountain area of Yunnan which is much loved by PuErh aficionados because of its sweet, high mountain aroma and freshness which comes from the smaller leaf cultivars that populate these mountain forests. Jing Mai has been one of our favourite places to sources tea for many years. But, it takes quality pickings and skilled processing to bring out the best of Jing Mai.

Due to the distinctly different genetics of the tea trees in Jing Mai (Zhong Xiao Ye Zhong vs the usual Da Ye Zhong). Jing Mai tea has a brighter and 'greener' quality. Trying to maintain that character while producing a tea with thick mouthfeel, a developed finish and suitability for ageing is not simple and often times we taste Jing Mai PuErh which is bursting with aromatics but disappoints in mouthfeel and aftertaste.

This is definitely NOT the case with Pollen Provider PuErh! This tea has everything that you are looking for in a Raw PuErh - a bracing zestiness paired with lily sweetness, a gentle, easy-drinking nature with a satisfying kick and energy.
