BOTANICAL INGREDIENTS

Shou Wu
Use in the treatment of hair loss and to prevent premature graying. A powerful antibacterial effect. A good source of iron. Contains potent antioxidants and antioxidant-potentiating molecules.

Ginger
The warming capability of Ginger is thought to improve circulation by energizing the skin and therefore strengthening hair roots. Offers antiseptic capabilities. High in antioxidants, provides natural protection against free radicals, safeguarding the skin from harm.

Aloe Vera
Anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. Is particularly helpful to use on sensitive or dry scalps. A rich source of many vitamins including A, B, and C.

White Oak Bark
Extract of the bark of the oak tree. Antibacterial and astringent. Scalp conditioning. Contains tannins to help treat inflammation.

Rosehip
Full of hair revitalising vitamin A, vitamin C and the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Promotes healthy scalp and roots.

Lemon Balm
Soothing effect on the scalp and hair. Loaded with antioxidants that keep your cells safe from free radical damage. Strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action. Classified as being calming, soothing, healing and tightening on the skin, whilst also stimulating circulation in the scalp. Two compounds: caffeic acid and ferulic acid have ability to penetrate through the top layers into the deeper cutaneous layers of the skin and provide protection against UV radiation-induced skin damage. High in flavonoid antioxidants.

Millet
Plant Extract from a cereal grain. Skin and hair conditioning agent. Hydrating properties. High in proteins and has significantly more iron and silicon than other cereals. It is gluten free and very rich in amino acids, phosphorus and B vitamin. Its content of mineral salts, vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids exerts a trophic activity on hair. Hair and nails, in fact, are mainly constituted by keratin, a protein containing 18 amino acids. Amino acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids are necessary to the formation of keratin.

Witch Hazel
Astringent, anti-ageing, moisturising properties. Significant anti-bacterial and antiseptic qualities – a fantastic natural remedy for itchy scalp. Catechol tannins – help remove excess oil from the skin. A potent anti-inflammatory which reduces the irritation associated with dermatological conditions such as a red or sensitive scalp. Lemongrass

Chamomile
Contains azulene, an ingredient known for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and refreshing benefits. Anti-bacterial, antiseptic, and anti-allergy to help to rejuvenate and calm itching scalp.

Comfrey
Anti-Irritant and anti-inflammatory properties. Comfrey root powder helps to regenerate new cell growth, soothes skin, and helps to heal wounds. Contains a substance called allantoin, which helps to promote new cell growth. Works to fight dandruff and naturally nourish hair. When comfrey leaf is added to natural conditioners, it helps to repair damaged and over-processed hair, reverse hair loss, and brings the hair shine and volume.
