Our Yixing Zini Chime is a half-handmade pot made from excellent Huang Long Shan Zini clay. Half-handmade basically means that each pot is handmade and individual but the maker uses moulds and other tools to assist in crafting the teaware.
The shape of this pot is unmistakeably bold and modern with straight lines and functional geometry. Yet from above and in the hands the pot is rounded soft and tactile.
The trapezoid shape makes the pour very smooth and fast through a 9-hole flat filter.
Zini clay is renowned for its softening and thickening effects and high heat retention. This Zini Chime is made from high grade Huang Long Shan clay which will round out your tea making it suitable for Raw PuErh, Heicha and heavy Roasted Oolongs.
Capacity is approximately 125ml which is a swet spot size for solo and small group sessions.
