This is a great opportunity to educate your palate on the nuances between different areas and cultivars of this famous Chinese Green.
The kit contains three numbered pouches of Long Jing tea and a letter to guide you through the blind tasting. All of the batches in this kit are delicious (no duds).
We will explain the overall differences between the different batches and give you the opportunity to blind taste them to experience the variations in character and try to guess which one is which.
You will taste the effect that cultivars and origins have on the tea, comparing the most expensive Long Jing (Xihu Qun Ti from Plum Village) with other pinnacle brews made from different varieties in different areas.
The letter then reveals the identity of the teas and gives you my personal thoughts about their nuances. The kit contains enough tea for about 3-4 horizontal tasting sessions, so you can repeat the experience and share this learning with friends.
