An absolute treasure. My preferred way to get every last drop out of my Gyokuro.

Brewing Gyokuro is a special session because of the intensity of the flavour and effects. When you brew in a Shiboridashi it allows you to squeeze out every last drop of concentrated tea from the leaves.

This Shiboridashi has been crafted by hand and is strikingly simple and raw yet perfectly balanced and beautiful. It is unglazed inside and has a beautiful artisan Yohen burnished finish on half of the outside. It is a joy to brew with and the pinnacle of teaware for any Gyokuro lover.

As always with clay teaware, do not use any detergents! To clean, all then you have to do is thoroughly rinse out the tea leaves and leave to dry with the lid off.
