This raw Gushu PuErh comes from Gao Shan village in Yiwu approaching elevations of 1700m. It has been made by one family of tea producers who own Gushu forests with trees in the range of 200-300 years of age.

The production is very small batch (50kg) and is processed entirely by hand in the traditional way using wood-fired and low-temperature Sha Qing (heating).

The resulting tea is a perfect representation of what makes Yiwu tea so sought after. It has a sweet and syrupy taste and texture with hardly any astringency or bitterness.
