There is a general assumption out there that tea is not a party drink. Instead it is most often used as a way to relax or destress. However, the stimulant and feel good chemicals in tea make it a great addition to any party.

Of course, you are unlikely to be brewing up your favourite precious Oolong for a crowd of people, many of which have no knowledge or passion for tea. So, in the party situation I like to break out our quality blends with a more upfront taste.

In this video I explain how the three blends in our Sensation Tea Tower gift have been created to enhance any festivities and I give you a couple of Vegan recipes to make some great tea cocktails.

The other benefit of bringing tea to the party is that you will introduce a crowd of people to the delights of true tea. By inspiring more people into becoming Teaheads you will have more opportunities to share personal Gong Fu sessions and build your teahead community.

So get out there and enjoy yourself while sharing the revelation of true tea.

Recipes:

Matchadita:

1 bunch Mint

1 bunch Coriander

Juice of 3 Limes

2 Green Chillis

1 Litre Pineapple Juice

2-3 tsp Ceremonial Grade Matcha

Roughly chop the herbs and the chilli (deseed if you prefer less spicy) and put in blender. Squeeze in the lime juice and pour over the pineapple juice. Blend thouroughly and strain to make a Verdita juice.

Put matcha in a bowl and pour in a small amount of Verdita juice. Whisk to incorporate the Matcha. Pour in the rest of the Verdita and mix. Keep in a sealable container refrigerated until use. We recommend preparing the Matchadita just before your party!
