How to Break and Wrap PuErh Cakes

Learn how to handle your cakes and protect those precious leaves.

I love the ritual of bringing out my tea inspection tray and pick to crack into those tea cakes. The sound of easing the pick into the cake and leveraging the leaves is another pleasure which we tried to capture in our ASMR video.

In this session I give you the basics of how to break into a cake and Celine shows you how to wrap it back up in its paper.

I will be doing another post about those hard to break Iron pressed bings but this should work for the majority of the cakes in your collection.
