A very clear sweetness, with strong notes of malt candy and raisins, and a subtle light rose finish. The malt flavor moves more into the background by each infusion, with the rose flavor taking over.

Rose and Black tea is a classic pairing as the sweet rose aroma sits perfectly within the warmer aroma profiles of a black tea (I never understood rose and Green tea unless it is a very zesty rose variety).

Some people make this blend using a floral Black like a Keemun but we prefer using a more warming and chocolatey tea like this Fujian Gongfu Black. This produces a more luscious brew and has that delicious turkish delight satisfaction.
