Dry leaf: super perfumy. Rinsed leaf: skagenröra? Taste, first infusion: rose syrup. Second: more fruity cocoa notes and drier but still some rose. Rest: mostly cocoa and dark/malt syrup. Calming

    Recommends this tea

Rose and Black tea is a classic pairing as the sweet rose aroma sits perfectly within the warmer aroma profiles of a black tea (I never understood rose and Green tea unless it is a very zesty rose variety).

Some people make this blend using a floral Black like a Keemun but we prefer using a more warming and chocolatey tea like this Fujian Gongfu Black. This produces a more luscious brew and has that delicious turkish delight satisfaction.
