White teas produced outside of Fujian (the mother province of White Tea) have their own unique character and this Silver Needle is no exception. The idyllic terroirs of Guangxi make a tea which has more fruitiness and tropical, floral notes than the traditional taste from Fuding and Zhenghe. It is a very early Spring picked tea - the first flush of the year when the buds are at their most fat and flavourful.
