It has a unique kind of alcoholic rich taste that only an aged tea brings to the table. Reminds me of autumn leaves and leather, ripened fruit.

A worthy sequel to 'Sunfire Ripple' - this is a glorious 2010 Aged Fuding Shou Mei White Tea with an ambrosial taste and an incredible body sensation.

We are always sampling aged White Teas - our scouts in China and beyond know to seek out as many samples as they can find for us. The majority of aged Whites have excellent jammy aromatics but don't live up to the expectation in texture and taste. When we find a winner we snap it up and this one was an instant grab from the first sip.

The flavour profile combines plum desserts with mountain herbs and alcoholic fruit spirits. It is a deep and rich experience

The body sensation is remarkable. A deep, rising and moving warmth contrasts with a minty cool and opening respiration. The two combine to give the feeling of contentment and awe. Body sensations vary from person to person but we highly recommend that anyone looking for a tea with a potent effect should grab this tea and brew it up strong!
