Not usually a big fan of Wuyi Oolongs, but Bai Ji Guan is an exception, unusual combination of warm notes, refreshing notes, lightness, cream and mineral at the same time - a true discovery!

Malt, toffee, peachy fruitiness, some herb like chamomile or sage, mushroom, a baby-cream aroma and some fresh grassyness.

Creamy, slight toffee notes, minerality, intense sour taste, punching dryness, sourness and dryness complemented by jasmine notes.

Salty, crispy seaweed, caramel, wet rock, improves with each infusion.

If this is the "B" batch, I can only imagine how fantastic the tea was that Don actually bought but did not receive from the grower/broker! A must try for a Oolong lovers!

Good rocky flavor Smooth and milky. Nicely rounded flavor.

Something musty, like Darjeeling's pressed and aged grapes. Hazelnut paste. There's a white tea underneath but this is all about the lovely musty top notes, like fresh straw.

I'd love to taste the A grade version! A lovely smooth, caramel sweetness mixed with vanilla and gentle woodsmoke. I think the A grade would be sublime!

Fresh grass, little astringency at first on long steeps, then a mild sweetness hints of almond.

Bright caramel.soft caramel flavour. This was a reject for sale by meileaf. Still pretty good.

Dry minteral taste. Very light sweet taste, may be the toffee, but doesn't last long.
