A very fine picked White Peony from Fuding which has been partially dried under the sun for that extra flavour dimension.
The picking of Bai Mu Dan is a bud and young leaves but the less leaves the more expensive the tea becomes. This tea is considered in China to be the highest grade picking for Bai Mu Da because it is very fine, consisting of a fat bud and one or two young leaves. Does finer picking make better White Peony? This really depends on your taste and if you would like to compare this tea with a more open pluck Bai Mu Dan then check out our White Peony Experience Flight Box.
This Bai Mu Dan is from Fuding and has been sun dried which is becoming more and more of a rarity in Fujian with increased automation. It is a pinnacle brew with all of the trademark Fuding flavour notes that we love - nutty, creamy and thick with a little saltiness from the sea air and some wintergreen character.
