SILVER NEEDLE (Bai Hao Yin Zhen)
Early Spring Guangxi Silver Needle picked from over 70-year-old tea trees. Made only from tender and fat new buds that are picked only 2 days a year in early Spring and processed entirely by hand. Orange Blossom florals, sponge cake sweetness and gooseberry fruits softened with whipped cream.
Curated by tasting many high-quality samples, this tea balances all of the notes of a good Bai Mu Dan. Made with a mix of buds and leaves. Some say that this tea is lower quality than Silver Needle but they would be wrong - they are different teas with different characters. Lilac, green apple skin, almond milk and hot pavements.
A beautiful and hard to source tea made from Pu Erh buds. Picked from the ancient Ye Sheng Assamica Dehongensis Purple trees in Yunnan province. Hard boiled peach sweets and fresh cut pine with a sweet creamy juiciness.
