Finally we are so happy to announce that Young Gushu 2017 is in stock and we celebrate with a PuErh tea tasting in Hampstead Heath in London.

Young Gushu is our Gushu (ancient tea tree) PuErh tea which we select every year and is chosen specifically for the purpose of drinking young and fresh.

Yes, you can age this tea and it will probably become something wondrous in a different way. But, this tea is perfect to drink immediately, having the rich complexity that we all love about Gushu Sheng PuErh with no bitterness or puckering dryness.

It is an exciting challenge every year to try to find a harvest of Gushu from Yunnan which meets our requirements to be crowned as 'Young Gushu'. This year we were searching for over a month until we tasted this tea from Bing Dao.

Bing Dao is famous for producing teas which are rich and gentle with a cooling, sweet hui gan. Sometimes the tea can be too gentle and with this tea our suppliers blended material from East and West sides of the mountain to create a tea with more length and body. We are so excited by the resulting tea and wanted to introduce YG2017 to Lucy who is a Gushu obsessive.
