Autumn Light

Not as light as its name suggests - full-bodied yet approachable and easy everyday drinking. Mulchy autumnal leaves and crisp October breeze. Satisfying toasty nose fumes that holds a cosy space.

Excellent digestif, I can feel it settling my stomach and helping with digestion. Mossy wood in the rain, roasted coffee, sweet orange. A very relaxing tea.

Strong notes of ripe PuErh. Heavy PuErh overtones and subtle hints reminiscent of perfectly ripened PuErh. The finish is what you would expect from a quality Green or Oolong, but it’s PuErh! 11/10

Funky, earthy, mushroomy, cacao bitters, orange pith.

Woody, earthy, nutty and sweet, but with a funky must note that does give you that "forest floor" experience. Rich and smooth.

Solid easy drinking ripe, foresty but with more emphasis on woods than earth, a little roasted chestnut creaminess and a light sweetness. Good value.

Brings me to an overgrown, mossy woodland full of life far from human realms. The liquor is smooth and viscous, not too thick. It tastes of late night campfire in the center of a fairy circle.

Definite taste of Chen Pi, wet forest floor, mushroom umami, old leather and old varnish. Bit sweet, but for me it leaves a lot of savoury aftertaste.

Bright orange zest fruitiness leading into an antique bread shop with fresh rainfall during a hot summer.

Smooth, sweet, dark, funk, slippery, mushrooms with dirt, wet caramelized woods.

Dark leathery aroma. Burnt woods, roasted nuts, and leather.

Reminiscent of old scotch. Lightly toasted nuts, rye bread.

I get a lot of after rain fall smell in the mud ... in Canada now but used to live near western ghats in India during my childhood which gets a lot of rainfall ..so kinda nostalgic feel!!

Simply the best.

Beautiful rustic taste with notes of Brazil nuts, lovely simple and light for a Ripe tea.

Much lighter than the nose suggests. Pleasant and clean with an earthy nose and a slightly fruity finish.
