Candy Tree Black

An instant fruity hit that is so wonderful, then followed by a classic black tea cocoa that settles on the tongue just under those fruity notes. What a great tea.

Milk, canned peaches and a hint of white/pink flowers. Delicious!

Phenomenally sweet tea - apricot and peach jamminess, Turkish delight, a bit of wood. smooth and syrupy all the way through. Lovely!

Canned peach, light brown sugar, fresh flower buds. Later brews move more to damp wood and kompot water, with a milky caramel kind of flavour

I'm more of a green, wulong and the odd raw+ripe drinker and save the black for putting milk in, but this has converted me. Sweet fruits, cream and floral explosion with 0 bitterness. Stunning.

Fresh sweet sap, vanilla, honey, melted butter. all sweet. A wonderful night summer flower note in the aftertaste, of tobacco flower. syrupy. it smells like fruit candy and wood and something savoury.

Sweet and juicy peach and spiced plum notes. Hint of lilacs and a lick of minerality at the end. Great sweet peach flavour aftertaste.

Taste of candied citrus peel, also the flavor reminds me of how fresh cut cherry wood smells.

Sweet nectarine, peach, cherry, and tangerine gummy candy. Plum, light honey, vanilla, durum wheat flour, rose, seated beside a gentle fireplace. Youthful exuberance.

Smell is very sweet and fruity, like peach yogurt with pomegranate juice, but the taste to me is more like a full-course Thanksgiving Meal with celery seed and chicken broth.

It's quite a sweet tea. You can taste the cherry when you drink it along with the flavour of jam.

Initial yam/sweet potato note gives way to plums, prunes, roses, and guava. Medium mouthfeel with round sweetness and peach on the finish.

SO fruity and sweet! Candy Tree is aptly named. This tea still retains a classic black tea flavor profile, but the sweetness is cranked way up.

The taste reminds me of this little box my grandfather used to hold in the car with mint and peach candies in it.

I found my fun tasting tea from Mei Leaf that will be a staple whenever I buy a batch from them. This taste like a peach candy that any of my non-tea friends will easily like.

Starfruit, guava, oak, and cedar. Very bright and tropical fruit flavors up front, moving into darker wood flavors, and finishing with a sweet minerality.
