A very simple yet elegant green tea that has slowly grown to become my favorite everyday tea. Like strolling through a green field in spring. Sun warm and bright with a slight breeze

Use more leaf and start the 20-sec count when starting to pour. Now I get it! Elegant, beany, sweetness rises up at the end and lasts.

Very enjoyable. Creamed corn, steamed spinach, roast chicken (we;ve got a whole meal here), raw garlic mustard, poached salmon with lemon, hints of dill and cinnamon

Tried this again on the first warm Spring morning of 2025; now I “get it”. Tasting notes are the same as previous, but this one is a treat in the morning, sunshine and breeze.

Candied pralines, marzipan, buttered edamame , chocolate cake frosting, buttered finish, battered crackers, vegetal broth, green pears, honeydew melon, fine and balanced mouthfeel.

A good reminder that a tea can be cheap while still being incredibly good

Beautiful bright and light green colour contrasts a surprisingly deep savoury flavour. As someone else has commented, this is a Chinese green that will really appeal to Japanese green lovers.

Citrusy, melon sweet, savoury with a slight toasty note. This Chinese green is a must for everyone who loves Japanese green!

Elegant and balanced; nothing sticks out of place. Gentle sourness, akin to yogurt, zucchini, chestnuts. More umami than the chocolate note would have suggested. Very lovely.

The tea has lost a bit of its freshness. Loses its flavor after 3-4 steeps. However, the first couple of stees are very strong and brothy.

Roasted peas and soy beans, freshly cut grass, hot brownies. Body sensation: uplifting, calming, happy vibes.

Tasty green tea, have bought more. Light and refreshing. Notes of pear and lightly buttered asparagus.

Savory and slightly sweet. Full of vegetal brothiness and umami.
