Cone Bandit Gushu

Love love love love love this puerh!! Creamy, fruity, and sweet! I wish I had ordered a second cake before it sold out... Maybe you could search out a Cone Bandit II in your travels? ;)

Nose brown bread ice-cream: yes! Savoury, herby astringency, light sweetness. Sage. S4-5 Very drying & tannic, then S6 green grape clean fruitiness.

Really juicy character with the typical raw Puerh taste. Bitterness go hand in hand with creamy tones. There are green grape notes indeed. Lingering aftertaste.

This is a very flavorful tea. I'm giving it a 9 compared to the bursting flavor of Monocle Boss. You can really taste the changes in flavor profile through gong fu brewing!

Medicinal astringency, slight brown bread flavour.

It's sad that this one is no longer in stock but I purchased an extra one to age because I like it that much. It's great at the age it is now but I think it will be even better the longer you keep.

Floral; burnt sugar and maple syrup. Slight bitterness catching up at the end.

Wildflowers and bitter herbs. Grapefruit and a teeny bite of pepper on the first infusion. More like perfumey lilies on subsequent infusions.

Strong, sweet malty grass flavor and taste. Great!

Although initially quite a little too strong to me and a little bitter, it develops a most surprising aftertaste of very intense flowers and tropical fruit, amazing.

Wonderful nose to this Gushu. Background of jasmine flowers and a satisfying bitterness that transforms to sweetness with the finish. Lots of "throat charm", lol.

Brown bread and fruity sweetness. The gushu bitters is light.
