Wet rocks on the riverbank with sand all around, flexible leather, forest after the rain. Very comforting tea!

Woody and earthy, smooth

Earthy, rich, leathery, darkly satisfying with a taste and aroma that infuses and lingers. I’ve finished my pouch and miss this tea like a good friend, never to be seen again.

"Warm" taste of wet leaves, wood and leather. Metallic mouthfeel.

Fresh paper, wood, celery notes, medicinal bitter-sweet notes, especially on the sides of the tongue.

After fighting a heavy food, it feels like phoenix rising from the ashes. Then settled down in a misty wet forrest.

One of my favorites from Mei Leaf. Freshly tanned leather, wet cave, potting mix, fern/forest floor, waterlogged wood finished with a deep spicy honey sweetness at the back of the throat. Teadrunk/10.

Consistent taste and aroma of wood with a hint of leather, quite smooth and mineral, a very good peurh.

Wood and minerals, but less strong than the others pu erh I tried. Good digestif

Typical woody and earthy taste but very smooth. Also hints of leather, moss and clove. After ~5 infusions minerality becomes more prominent.

This tea is very unique. It smells like antique bookshops and soil (which I like), and tastes like the darkest of dark chocolate. A very potent, satisfying cup of tea.

Brewed 4 or 5 infusions as directed, Nice smell of leather in the pot (clay) caramel and hey in the cup. Cold infused in 1 litre of water overnight for a refreshing drink the next day with 0 bitterness.

Best cooked Puerh I have had. Smooth still earthy but very clean. Almost a bit of menthol in the finish.

Leather and antique wood. Very good with an old whiskey.

Damp soil, deteriorating leather, vanilla, oak barrels.

Absolutely lovely - It is like a fresh, sweet compost. Slight grassy notes at the end.

Woody, earthy aromas, a very rounded, smooth, strong taste, with a mineral finish.

Earthy but not overpoweringly so, has a mild woody, leafy taist.

Wet cave, clean leather, though similar in flavour profile to some other ripened puerhs I have tried (still few) it is noticeably smoother.
