Nuzzle Diver

A bright, refreshing and yet creamy Raw PuErh from 100-year-old tea trees growing in He Kai region of Yunnan. This is a super easy drinking Sheng tea which is perfect for everyday drinking and as a gateway for those wanting to discover the delights of raw PuErh.

We tend to source Gushu (ancient tea tree) Sheng (raw) PuErh because it has a richness and complexity which young tea trees cannot achieve. However, Gushu's are pricey and we are always on the search for delicious, middle-aged tea tree pickings and when we tasted this He Kai, we bought up the whole batch after a few infusions.

He Kai has a particularly creamy signature and this is showcased nicely in this tea with the taste of brown bread ice cream. This would be delicious by itself, however, the Nuzzle Diver adds a fresh lemon curd tang and the comforting aromas of hot laundry and mountain air.

The Nuzzle Diver is the perfect example of the delights that Zhong Shu (middle age tree) can bring to your tea sessions. It has some of the sweetness and depth of a Gushu, while keeping a young, bright and fresh character. It has become my go-to morning PuErh!
