Three powerhouse brews to get you Tea Lifted!
We are continually being asked for recommendations of teas which will give clients the experience of being Tea Drunk.
While it is impossible to make blanket statements for everyone (see the important points below), I tend to recommend Aged White, Raw Ancient Tree PuErh and heavily fermented Hei Cha as my go-to tea types for tea drunkenness.
So here is a selection covering these three tea types that my team and I find particularly strong. Drink responsibly!
It is important to make these points:
- The Tea Drunk sensation is not ONE feeling but is a variety of feelings from energized and clear to woozy and high to giggly to contemplative.
- Everyone is different with differing bodies and will react differently. Some people are very attuned to feeling the tea drunk sensations - this is a skill to learn in tea drinking.
- The drunken feeling from tea will also depend on your mood and energy state so the same tea will have different effects on the same person.
- Brewing a tea stronger and drinking your session in a shorter window of time will increase potency. Please pay attention to your body and adapt your session.
- Drinking the tea on an empty stomach will increase potency but may make you feel dizzy so be cautious and have snacks (like nuts or fruits) if you feel uncomfortable.
