Why I Love Gaiwans

I explain why this is my favourite piece of teaware and my go-to brewing choice.

The simplictity and directness of Gaiwan tea brewing is unsurpassed and nothing says True Tea more than that iconic shape - which is why it features so prominently in our logo artwork!

I love products which are efficient and functional. I adore beautiful design especially when this is achieved through unadorned and unembellished simplicity.

This is why Gaiwans will always be my first love in teaware. After fifteen years in tea I cannot walk past a teaware stall without playing with their Gaiwans. But I have become very picky which is why our Porcelain and Glass Gaiwans are all that we currently have in stock.

Do yourself a favour and add a Gaiwan to your collection and then watch this video about how to brew with your little treasure.
