The clay is Yixing Wenge Zini, which is an old cultural revolution era clay recipe of purple clay.
This is a half-handmade pot, meaning it is made by hand with the use of shaping moulds. Fully handmade means that it is entirely made from clay without any shape template moulds.
The dragon design trace is stamped onto the body of the pot and then it is hand-carved before finishing with black ink. It is incredible craftsmanship to enjoy for generations.
