    Recommends this tea

A commonly used Chinese herb which can be used in cooking or brewed as a tea. It is commonly thrown into those classic Chinese herbal chicken soups and gives a distinctly medicinal taste to the broth.

In Chinese Medicine it is used to tonify the blood for those who are pale or have dry and brittle hair and nails. It is commonly prescribed for women who suffer from irregular or painful periods although it can be used for a variety of conditions such as constipation, swelling and blood stagnation.

To brew, we recommend adding to soups or boiling water and allowing to simmer on the heat for at least 15 minutes.
